cecco is a working almanac of magic. It holds a catalogue of workings from many streams: traditional astrological magic, grimoires, folk magic, and living traditions still practised today. For any moment and place it tells you which workings the sky favours right now, computing the planetary day and hour, the moon's phase and sign, the lunar mansion, and the fixed stars entirely on your device. Whatever a working's origin, cecco pairs it with the astrological timing that favours it, so you can act when the moment is right. It is built to be used, not just read. WHAT IT DOES • Reads the sky for right now: planetary day and hour, moon phase, moon sign, and lunar mansion. • Surfaces the workings whose timing favours the present moment, ranked by how well the sky matches. • Shows the planetary hours of the day on a clear dial, so you can see when each hour opens and closes. • Names what each hour of the day is good for, and shades the whole day by how well it serves one goal. • Finds a window: look ahead for the next favourable time for a goal or a particular working. • Lets you browse and search the whole catalogue, and track the workings you care about. • Your constellation: the whole catalogue laid out as a star field over your own birth chart, brighter where a working suits you and not only the moment. • Ask the sage: describe a situation in your own words and get counsel on when to act, with the hours that suit it and a working to mark the moment. THE SOURCES The workings come from grimoires, folk practice, and living traditions, some centuries old and some still practised today. Some are edited for clarity or adapted from their originals, and where a source attaches a warning, that warning is kept with the entry. They are offered for use, with their context, not as professional advice or a promise of any outcome. A NOTE ON CONTENT This catalogue does not sanitize its sources. Some texts describe practices that are harmful, baneful, or disturbing, including animal sacrifice. They appear as the sources record them. Some workings can be genuinely dangerous, to you and to others. Use your judgement. PRIVATE BY DESIGN cecco needs no account and collects nothing about you. The almanac itself works entirely offline: your location is used on your device to compute sunrise and the planetary hours, and never leaves it. Ask the sage is the one exception, and only when you use it. The question you type and the place cecco is set to are sent to our server and passed to Anthropic, which composes the answer. We do not store either one, neither is tied to your identity, and neither is ever used for advertising, profiling or training. Answers are saved on your device.
