Camcorder is a video camera that gives you a film, not footage. SHOOT CLIPS. GET A FILM. Hold the record button. Let go to stop. Every clip joins the film, in order — no timeline, nothing to arrange, no evening spent editing. YOUR FILMS. DONE, BUT NEVER FINISHED. Add new clips, add a soundtrack — no re-rendering, and your footage is never uploaded twice. It's like magic. COLLECT EVERYONE'S CLIPS. From the other phones at the same event, in the order it happened — no editing. Afterwards Camcorder finds the phones nearby, and one press pulls their clips into your film. Over your local network only, never over the internet. PICK A LOOK. RECORD IN ANY ORIENTATION. Looks from film to comic, baked in as you film — however you hold the phone. Upright or sideways, the picture is the same rounded square, so clips shot both ways cut together with no black bars. There is no wrong way to hold it. TRIM IT WITH A TOUCH. There is no editing suite. Hold the picture to split a film in two, slide to the right place and tap the scissors. Both halves stay clips of their own, and deleting a half trims the film. There is no wrong way to cut. GIVE EVERY FILM A SCORE. Piano, guitar, harp, beats or air. One knob plays it, and the music follows the film. There is no wrong way to compose. EXPORT OR UPLOAD. Your films deserve center stage, with an audience of family and friends. Export hands the whole film to the share sheet — to Photos, or to whoever asked for it. Upload to Channel puts it on the web, at a link, for the people you choose. CHANNELS YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT. Follow your friends' and family's channels, and watch their films on the big screen or from the couch. KEEP A MOMENT. Double-tap any part of the video to snap a picture, and save it to Photos. One red disc. A film at the end of it. HOSTING PLANS Recording, exporting and watching are free. Uploading to your channels needs a Hosting Plan — 1, 5 or 20 hours of your videos on the web, monthly or yearly. Plans renew automatically until cancelled in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
