gpsTargetSetup vs ISSF Shot Timer

Use this GPS-based app to position shooting targets at desired distances for recreational firearm, airsoft or archery training. A shooting bench can be set, and up to 10 targets can be defined. This app remembers your last target setup, which makes it easy to place targets in the same locations the next time you shoot. A table of target info and pop-up dialog boxes allow you to review target distances and elevation delta's. There is no limit set by this app for how far a target can be from the bench. Settings can be modified to choose satellite or standard Apple maps. In Settings you can also choose different icons for the bench, target and location arrow. This app will still work when it is out of WiFi reception range.

ISSF Shot Timer lets you practise your shot timing. Set up your time to first shot and how much time you want left after your last shot and the app will indicate regular shot timings. The app provides audible and visual queues as to when to shoot. ISSF match timings are built in, so you can learn the optimal spacing between shots in the match you're training for. Standard Pistol, Rapid Fire and Centerfire/25m Pistol are all supported. On an iPad in landscape mode, Rapid Fire will show all five targets so you can practice your transition and aim.
