Frozen Dead Guy Days is the world's coolest thaw — a wonderfully weird winter festival in Estes Park, Colorado, built around the legend of Grandpa Bredo, the "frozen dead guy" kept on ice since 1989. This is your official companion for the festival AND your year-round guide to Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. MEET GRANDPA BREDO — YOUR AI GUIDE Tap the Grandpa tab and actually talk with Bredo himself. Ask him anything about the festival, where to eat, where to stay, the elk on Elkhorn Avenue, or a day trip into the mountains — out loud with your voice, or by typing. He answers in his own frosty, funny voice, checks the latest info online, and points you exactly where to go. PLAN THE PERFECT WEEKEND • Thaw-o-meter — a live countdown to the next festival • Full 3-day lineup of music, coffin races, games and ceremonies • Interactive grounds map — stages, warming huts, food, and more • Star events to build "My Plan," saved on your phone DON'T-MISS EVENTS • Coffin Races — six-person teams, one coffin, a downhill dash through the snow • The Polar Plunge at The Stanley Hotel • The Royal Blue Ball, Cannibal Chase 8K, Frozen T-Shirt Contest, and more • Register to compete and sign your waiver right in the app EXPLORE ESTES PARK • Festival-weekend hotel deals • Bands & Bloody's Brunch spots and local favorites • Things to do all year — the Riverwalk, Elkhorn Avenue shops, Rocky Mountain National Park, the historic Stanley Hotel, and the elk who roam downtown like they own the place Come make a story you'll still be telling when your own bones are chilly. Long may you chill! Frozen Dead Guy Days · Estes Park, Colorado · presented by Bosco Consulting & Productions LLC.
