The app can work with or without the sensor insoles, using only the vision data if there are no insoles connected. Please note - the app uses several features and capabilities in your phone that can severely drain your battery. 1. The app connects to the sensor insoles using BlueTooth LE. The app continue to run, will keep the connection, and will continue communicating with the insoles if connected, even in background mode with display off. This will impact the battery life of your phone. 2. The app will use your iPhone’s back camera to capture video for vision-based gait analysis. This feature will only work when the app is in foreground and open. The vision analysis uses your phone’s machine-learning capabilities, and consumes a significant amount of power. We strongly recommend using the vision analysis capability when your phone is connected to a charger cable, ideally placed on a phone holder/stand.
