Cinder compresses videos directly on your iPhone or iPad. Choose a quick preset or fine-tune every detail, then process one video or a whole batch. COMPRESS FROM ANYWHERE Send a video to Cinder from the Share Sheet, or add videos from Photos and Files. DOWNLOAD FROM A LINK Download video or audio from a supported online source using a link you provide. Open Settings, choose Download from Link, turn it on, and accept the Terms of Use. A download button then appears on the main screen. Save the download or compress a downloaded video with your queue. Use this feature only when you have the necessary rights and the source service permits downloading. CHOOSE THE RIGHT BALANCE Start with Small or Balanced, or customize codec, resolution, bitrate, audio, frame rate, and keyframe interval. RUN THE WHOLE BATCH Queue several videos and let Cinder work through them one by one. SEE THE DIFFERENCE Compare file size, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and duration before and after compression. SAVE IT YOUR WAY Export finished videos to Photos, share them with another app, or keep them as files in your Cinder folder in iCloud Drive. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Compression happens on your device. Your videos are not uploaded to Cinder servers for compression, and no account is required. Download from Link uses an internet connection to resolve links and fetch media, and may use a third-party link extraction service. Cinder is made for iPhone and iPad. It also runs on Apple silicon Macs.
