Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FileMaster Pro at 3.8 against File Manager's 1.0. FileMaster Pro also leads on ratings volume (110 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). File Manager's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. FileMaster Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and File Manager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
FileMaster Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FileMaster Pro has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
