Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: BedrockConnect for Minecraft at 4.5 against Squadnox's 3.7. BedrockConnect for Minecraft also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 18) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). Squadnox's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BedrockConnect for Minecraft sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Squadnox asks for nothing beyond the download.
BedrockConnect for Minecraft holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BedrockConnect for Minecraft has 3.4K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Squadnox's written reviews are positive against 51% of BedrockConnect for Minecraft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Squadnox ships an update every 5 weeks, BedrockConnect for Minecraft every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
