Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Lunar Proxy for Minecraft at 4.4 against Squadnox's 3.7. Lunar Proxy for Minecraft also leads on ratings volume (668 vs 18) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Squadnox's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lunar Proxy for Minecraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Squadnox asks for nothing beyond the download.
Lunar Proxy for Minecraft holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lunar Proxy for Minecraft has 668 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Squadnox's written reviews are positive against 52% of Lunar Proxy for Minecraft's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Squadnox ships an update every 5 weeks, Lunar Proxy for Minecraft every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
