Unisono´s unique realtime tone visualizations assist in optimizing acoustic instrument recordings by indicating "sweet spot" locations where an instrument sounds best. Sound engineers usually try to find by ear spots where an instrument sounds best to place the microphone - this is now done quick and easy with TUNIC Unisono: move the device´s microphone to a location where a majority of the separately played tones used in the performance preferably produce a round, open circular shape on the screen. Furthermore, Unisono may support you during the voicing process (treatment of the hammer felt hardness). Perfect for a fast checkup of your tuning if some notes have slipped, or if even perfectly tuned unisons show up some „closed“ behaviour, which possibly can be improved („opened“) by massaging the tuning pin while striking the note.
