A letter in German, and plenty of questions? OpenZen Doc helps you capture German-language documents, translate them and review their key information. SCAN OR IMPORT A PDF Photograph pages with your camera or choose a German-language PDF from Files. Check the captured pages and change their order if needed. Each request supports up to twelve pages and a total of 14,000 recognized text characters. TRANSLATION AND EXPLANATION Compare the recognized original text with the translation. The explanation organizes key points, possible next steps, warnings, and detected deadlines and amounts. Copy results or send them through the iOS share menu. TEN OUTPUT LANGUAGES German, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hebrew and Turkish. Source documents should be in German. Ten output languages do not mean that every source language is supported. LOCAL TEXT RECOGNITION, ONLINE PROCESSING Text recognition with Apple Vision runs on your device. For translation and explanation, recognized text is sent over HTTPS to OpenZen's own infrastructure. Document photos and PDF files are not sent to the AI server. Translation and explanation need an internet connection. Prepared explanations are held temporarily on the server; see the privacy information for storage details. EASY TO START No user account and no ads. Choose a language, add your pages and start processing. Temporary scan working copies are removed when a session ends or is reset. You manage separately shared files at their chosen destination. Automatic text recognition, translation and explanation may contain errors. Always check names, numbers, deadlines and important wording against the original. OpenZen Doc is an information tool and does not replace legal, medical, financial, tax or official advice.
