Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Everywhere Is Queer at 630 against Trace Viewer's 5. Trace Viewer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Trace Viewer against 5.0 for Everywhere Is Queer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everywhere Is Queer has 630 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Trace Viewer's written reviews are positive against 95% of Everywhere Is Queer's.
Trace Viewer ships an update fortnightly, Everywhere Is Queer every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
