The iSCOUT mobile app allows users to analyze and store photos of the sticky plates used for insect monitoring. The user can create and manage virtual traps associated with the manual traps distributed in the fields to collect his photos of the trap glue boards. A detection algorithm applied to the photo identifies, categorizes and counts the insects. Resulting data are visualized in charts and can be exported for further analysis. The app also shows photo and detection results coming from electronic traps iSCOUT. The users can optimize their own insect monitoring and protection strategy, thanks to the combination of remote electronic control and manual, but digitized, experience.
