Manfred for Mastodon vs Steez

Manfred does your Mastodon business. It is a simple yet powerful Mastodon client. It is fast, tidy and respectful of your attention. Unlike other platforms, Mastodon has no algorithmic feed and no engagement tricks: it simply gives you your timelines. Manfred lets you shape them exactly how you like, and helps you put the app down when you are done. YOUR HOME SCREEN, YOUR RULES Compose your home screen from timelines, lists, hashtags and notifications. Arrange them as tabs on your phone or side by side on your tablet. FOCUS MODE Flip one switch and your timeline becomes finite: Manfred stops right where you last left off, hides engagement counts, and reduces notifications to mentions only. Read what's new, see "you're all caught up", and get on with your day. Turn it off any time and Manfred behaves like a classic client again. TRULY PRIVATE PUSH Push notifications are strictly opt-in and end-to-end encrypted. Our relay server forwards notifications without being able to read them. Not even we know who has mentioned you. MANY ACCOUNTS, ONE APP Switch between accounts on any instance with a single tap and reply as whichever persona suits. FILTERS THAT WORK Hide boosts, replies or bots per column, and show any column as a classic timeline, a photo gallery, or a media list. CONVERSATIONS THAT MAKE SENSE Threads are shown as a tree with colour-coded levels, and replies carry their context with them. Collapse the branches you have already read. CHECK OUT SERVER TIMELINES Preview any instance's local timeline (if they allow it) anonymously before signing in. SHARING MADE EASY Share text, links and images from other apps straight into the Manfred composer. PRIVACY Manfred collects no personal data and shows no ads. Your settings stay on your device, and the app only ever communicates with the Mastodon server you choose. Note: you need a Mastodon account, available for free on many instances (see joinmastodon.org).

Steez is a social platform where artists build private communities with their most loyal supporters. Fans can discover new creators, join their communities, and enjoy behind-the-scenes content — while artists stay independent and keep full creative control. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Discover artists that match your taste, not just the algorithm of the day. • Join creator communities and get closer through drops, AMAs, and real-time updates. • Follow creators for early releases, behind-the-scenes content, and group chats. • Enjoy a calm, toxic-free space designed for meaningful connection, not endless scrolling. FOR ARTISTS • Build a community of true supporters who genuinely care about your work. • Stay independent — retain full ownership of your content and set your own terms. • Share more with your community: group chat, articles, early drops, and more. • Reach the right fans with discovery that surfaces listeners who genuinely vibe with your sound. • Make your profile yours with a banner and a link hub for everything you're working on. HOW IT WORKS 1. Set up your profile and start sharing content. 2. Build your community and invite your most loyal supporters. 3. Share content, host conversations, and grow together. WHY STEEZ • Value over volume: a few hundred true supporters can do more for your career than millions of passive plays. • Real community: spaces where artists and fans can talk, share progress, and celebrate releases together. • Creative freedom: you decide what to share, when, and with whom.
