Calendar Helper vs Better Timer

Calendar Helper is the missing link between your Canvas calendar and the Reminders app. You set the calendars you want it to read from and it will create a reminder for every event in your chosen date range. With this, it is much easier to keep track of upcoming, completed, and (gasp!) late assignments. They will be created as reminders in your chosen Reminders list and will then also move across your devices with you. This app works 100% offline! You tell it which Calendars and Reminders list you want it to read and save to and it will do the rest. It will also create a list of courses where you can give them nicknames to shorten the name of each reminder. There is also an option to disable new reminder creation for each class. Shortcuts integration means you can ask Siri to refresh your assignments by saying: "Refresh with Calendar Helper." You can also create your own shortcut and customize the phrase and even combine this task with others. Automations are available through the Shortcuts app so you can also set the app to update on its own in the background on the schedule of your choosing! Please note: if you plan on using this with your Canvas calendar, you must add your Canvas calendar subscription to the iOS Calendars app. It is a simple (and free!) app that can help you be more organized with your homework.
