Moving Home Checklist vs MoveInProof

We’ve put together a comprehensive series of checklists to help make your move a little easier. Don’t worry, we won’t let you forget a thing! Please bear in mind these checklist have been designed for a move within England and Wales, although most steps apply to a move anywhere in the world. Our first checklist, the Moving House Checklist has details of all the thing you’ll need to do when you move, and is customisable depending on whether you’re a first time buyer, you’re buying and/or selling, or renting your next home. Our second, the Property Viewing Checklist, details everything you need to check when you go to view a potential new home to buy. And our Change of Address Checklist outlines all the types of companies and organisations you’ll need to inform of your move. In all checklists, tasks are grouped by the stage of your move or organisation type, you can check them off as you go, and the app lets you know how many you still have left to complete. We hope our app is a valuable service during your move: we’d love to hear your thoughts on it and ideas for how we could improve it.

MoveInProof helps you document a rental's condition — before a move-in, after a move-out, during a landlord inspection, at rental turnover, or after an insurance loss. Walk each room, flag damage, attach condition photos and notes, mark checklist items, and export a clean, dated PDF report when you are ready to share. Four report modes cover the full rental lifecycle: - Renter move-in / move-out walkthrough - Landlord inspection - Rental turnover between tenants - Insurance loss inventory Build a room-by-room photo inventory with timestamps so the property's condition is recorded clearly and fairly for both renters and landlords. The app is local-first and does not require an account. Your report stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it. MoveInProof is for personal documentation only. It does not provide legal advice, verify admissibility, determine responsibility, or guarantee deposit recovery.
