Clareo helps school students understand homework with AI that explains, shows and teaches - rather than simply giving answers. Take a picture of something you’re stuck on, scan a worksheet, work through maths step by step, develop ideas, improve writing, read difficult text aloud or ask follow-up questions until something makes sense. When a concept is easier to understand visually, Clareo can also use Show Me to turn supported maths problems and ideas into clear visual explanations. Clareo is designed to help students build confidence, understanding and independence — not just finish homework faster. Take a Picture Take a photo of a homework question, diagram, worksheet or something you are trying to understand. Clareo looks at what is in the picture and helps explain it in a clear, age-appropriate way. Scan Homework Scan worksheets, homework sheets or handwritten work to capture the questions and text on the page. Clareo identifies the tasks so you can choose what you need help with. Understand It Get clear explanations that break difficult topics, questions and instructions into simpler, manageable ideas. If the first explanation does not make sense, ask Clareo to explain it another way. Show Me Some things are easier to understand when you can see them. Show Me turns supported maths problems and concepts into clear visual explanations that help students see how the idea works, not just read about it. Get Ideas Explore different directions, build a plan and develop original ideas without having the work written for you. Clareo helps students get started while keeping the thinking and final work their own. Read with Me Listen to worksheets, questions and passages read aloud while following highlighted words. Adjust the reading speed, text size and reading chunks, or use a dyslexia-friendly font to make difficult text feel more manageable. Check My Work Review completed work and receive constructive feedback on what is correct, what needs another look and what could be improved next. Clareo focuses on helping students understand their mistakes rather than simply replacing their answers. Improve Writing Clarify sentences, strengthen ideas and make writing easier to understand while preserving the student’s own voice. Maths Helper Take a photo, type or speak a maths problem and work through it step by step. Clareo explains the method, not just the answer, and can use visual explanations when they help make the problem clearer. Ask Clareo Ask follow-up questions, request a simpler explanation, explore examples or have something explained in a different way until it makes sense. Reading Support Clareo includes reading support such as: • Adjustable text size • Adjustable reading speed • Highlighted words while reading aloud • Manageable reading chunks • Dyslexia-friendly font options These tools are designed to make difficult text easier to access and understand. Designed for Learning Clareo encourages students to think, understand and solve problems for themselves. It can help when a student says: • “I don’t understand the question.” • “I can’t read this.” • “I don’t know where to start.” • “Can you show me?” • “I know what I mean, but I can’t write it clearly.” • “Can you explain it another way?” For Parents Homework can quickly become stressful for students and the adults supporting them. Clareo gives students a calm, supportive place to build confidence in reading, writing, maths and comprehension while encouraging independent learning. Rather than replacing thinking, Clareo helps students understand concepts, improve their work and develop skills they can use long after the homework is finished. Start with a 7-day free trial.
