Kanthasth ("कंठस्थ") is a memory based translation software that was developed by the Department of Official Language with the help of C-DAC, Pune. The Kanthasth 1.0 was launched on 18th August 2018, in 11th World Hindi Conference (WHC) in Mauritius by the then Hon'ble Minister of State for Home Affairs in Mauritius, 2018. Kanthasth 2.0 was launched by Honourable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah on 14th September on the occasion of Hindi Diwas held in Surat, Gujarat. The mobile version of Kanthasth 2.0 is launched at the 12th World Hindi Conference in Fiji. It has a Translation Memory (TM) database which stores translated data in the form of source-language and target-language segments. The main characteristic of the Translation memory system is that it allows a translator to reuse the already translated segments while translating a new file. The TM database gets continuously enriched with each subsequent use of the system for translation purposes This system is made available to all by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, free of cost. Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) is providing various services to stake Pensioners through its Mobile App. CPAO has developed a DIRGHAYU Pensioners Mobile App for use of pensioners for availing various services. Pensioners/ Family Pensioners can register on the DIRGHAYU Mobile APP by providing PPO number, Date of Birth & Date of Retirement/Date of Death (in case of Family pensioner). This Mobile App provides the following features:- • Facility to view the Pensioner Profile • Digital record of Pension & Revision Orders • Download facility of pension/Revision orders sent to banks • Tracking status of pension processing • Facility for obtaining feedback of pensioners • Monthly details of pension payments • Registration of Help Request and status check Features of APP :- • Navigation One can navigate all important details like Basic Pension, Number of Revisions that have taken place till date, Number of help request registered and last amount paid to pensioner. • Last 24 Payments / Transactions Details Display last 24 payment/Transaction details if available for particular pensioner • List of SSAs issued Display list of all SSAs issued for particular pensioner. User can download any available SSA from this section in .pdf format. • List of Registered Help Requests Enable pensioner to view all Help request registered till date and also check their status.
