Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Dynamisland Notch Wallpapers at free with in-app purchases against Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen's subscription. Dynamisland Notch Wallpapers also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 41%). Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (523 vs 80). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Dynamisland Notch Wallpapers sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen has 523 ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen's written reviews are positive against 64% of Dynamisland Notch Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Live Wallpapers 27 Lock Screen ships an update every 4 weeks, Dynamisland Notch Wallpapers monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
