Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: SavingMan at 5.0 against ONEW's 3.8. SavingMan also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). ONEW's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ONEW sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SavingMan sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

SavingMan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ONEW has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of ONEW's written reviews are positive against 50% of SavingMan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

ONEW ships an update every 11 days, SavingMan weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
