ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

OruxMaps holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Red's written reviews are positive against 36% of OruxMaps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Red ships an update every 3 weeks, OruxMaps monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
