"Scan the bill, skip the math." TipBrain instantly reads your receipt, auto‑calculates suggested tip amounts and the final total, and warns you if a gratuity/service charge is already included. How it works - Open TipBrain and allow camera access. The app shows the camera view. - Point the camera at the receipt; the app automatically captures and processes the pricing area. - TipBrain detects subtotal, tax, and total, then auto‑calculates suggested tip amounts and the final total. - Tap any detected field to edit amounts manually if OCR misreads a line. Core features - Auto OCR of subtotal, tax, and total from receipts - Automatic tip calculation and final amount display - Gratuity/service detection with an alert to prevent double‑tipping - Customizable Lunch and Dinner tip percentages (in Settings) - All parsing and calculations run locally on device (no uploads) Tips for best results - Lay the receipt flat and place it in good lighting - Ensure the pricing section is fully visible in the frame - Wipe the camera lens if images are blurry Privacy All recognition and calculation occur on the device.
