About

JumpControl

World Athletics recommends the use of video support for judging horizontal jumps at all competition levels – amendment to Technical Rule 29 of the International Competition Regulations. The systems offered by professional manufacturers are not available at levels below national championships – and even there, sometimes not at all. The app has already proven its worth at the German Combined Events Championships and has become the standard at the Lower Saxony State Championships. With the camera function, the recording device (recommended: Apple iPhone) can be optimally positioned next to the takeoff board. The evaluation device (recommended: Apple iPhone or, even better, iPad) can be placed, for example, with the scorekeeper or near the official. The devices detect and connect effortlessly – Wi-Fi is not required. The evaluation device can connect to multiple cameras (alternately) (e.g., during the triple jump). Advantages of the Jump Control: • No Wi-Fi required • Compatible with iOS 16.2 and later • For all horizontal jumps • Multiple cameras possible (e.g., for triple jump or parallel landings) (one at a time) • High accuracy through optimal camera placement Attempts can be saved and shared with athletes and coaches (AirDrop, email, etc.) • 60 to 240 frames per second (camera dependent) • Integrated spirit level • Energy optimization: Camera screen dimmable when connected to the evaluation system • Optional guide lines facilitate evaluation • One app for camera and evaluation • Simple licensing model – no subscription required NOTE: The stability of the connection between the evaluation device and the camera(s) depends on external conditions (such as other interfering devices in the vicinity, distance between camera and evaluation device, etc.). Since these cannot be influenced by the provider, continuous functionality of the solution cannot be guaranteed.

The SmarTracks Coach App puts the coach at the center of the training world. Developed for smartphones and tablets, the app offers you as a coach a platform for high-precision measurement of running times and steps. The app works in conjunction with a SmarTracks DX5.0 sensor, which makes it possible to measure the time of a run at a frequency of 500Hz. In addition to the sensor, you only need a sports facility equipped with the integrated SmarTracks system. If you don't have one of these SmarTracks locations around the corner, you can also use the SmarTracks DX5.0 sensor in the app with a Mobile Gates Set. Live results - Split times in seconds and 1/100th of a second Results in the app and via SmarTracks Online (https://online.smartracks.run/) - Steps per minute (spm) - Number of steps - Distances - Speed (m/s) Requirements for the equipment The app is designed for use with a belt that holds the sensor on the lower back. Results from using the app with the sensor in other positions on the athlete's body will be less accurate. DX5.0 sensors and running belts can be purchased from Humotion: https://go.smartracks.run/quote#form. *Note: Part of SmarTracks Pro Subscription, in development.
