True Discourse. Decentralized. Unstoppable. Mirage is what Reddit could have been -- a simple, user-centric platform built to protect speech, erase corporate censorship, and give you control over your feed. No more black box algorithms controlled by faceless corporations. DECENTRALIZED BY DESIGN Every post and comment exists across the entire network through a blockchain, so no single server holds the keys to your content. All nodes see the same live feed of activity. The blockchain ensures what you see is agreed upon by the network as a whole, making Mirage fast, censorship-resistant, and impossible for one operator to control. ZERO CRYPTO KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED You don't need a wallet, tokens, or any understanding of crypto to join. Anyone can sign up instantly and start posting just like they would on Reddit or X. Your device performs a simple proof of work that takes seconds, then you're in. We handle the blockchain complexity in the background. A FREE SPEECH PROTOCOL Not a company. Not a platform. A protocol that can't be bought, sold, or shut down. Reddit started as the front page of the internet, then came the censorship and corporate takeover. We watched it die. We built what comes next. Your voice, permanently on the internet. MODERATION ON YOUR TERMS Moderators offer filters and curation that you can choose to follow -- completely voluntary and transparent. A node can block content locally, but it cannot remove it from every node. If you dislike a node's policy, you can browse another node with different settings. Move freely. WHAT PERSISTS AND WHAT FADES On-chain and persistent: usernames, account balances, validator data, and governance parameters. Off-chain and ephemeral: the actual text of posts and comments are stored by nodes. If no node keeps a post, it disappears. That's the idea behind the name Mirage -- content appears as long as nodes keep it. BUILT FOR PEOPLE - Post, comment, and vote without corporate oversight - Your content is permanent and can't be censored network-wide - No hidden algorithms deciding what you see - Simple interface focused on content, not ads - Transparent moderation logs visible to all - No platform-wide policy changes without consent - Your space can't be shut down or sold Spaces that cannot be shut down. Moderation that is open and transparent. A feed shaped by your choices, not advertisers. Join Mirage today. Website: https://mirage.foundation
