Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: AR LOG at 5.0 against BNOW's 2.4. AR LOG also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). BNOW's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BNOW sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. AR LOG asks for nothing beyond the download.
AR LOG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BNOW has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
BNOW ships an update every 2 weeks, AR LOG fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
