Your car's paperwork is in a glovebox, two email threads and 400 photos. GarageID puts it in one place: point your camera at a document and it files itself. Registration, insurance, service invoices, inspection reports, warranties, loan contracts — photograph them once. GarageID reads each one, figures out what it is, names it, tags it and drops it in the right folder. No typing. A car maintenance log and vehicle expense tracker in one: log every service, fill-up and expense — or photograph the receipt and GarageID fills it in. Reminders for oil changes, tires, insurance and registration. NEW: YOUR DRIVES, RECORDED BY THEMSELVES Turn on Drives and GarageID notices when you drive. Each drive is saved by itself with its route, distance, time and stops — the phone can stay in your pocket. Stop at a gas station and one question after the drive turns it into a fill-up, with the station already filled in. Your odometer reading keeps up with your drives, trips get their distance, and years of driving become one map. Drives stay on your iPhone. WHAT IT PULLS OUT FOR YOU Scan a service invoice and the work appears on your car's timeline — date, shop, mileage, what was replaced, what it cost. Scan a gas receipt and your fuel economy updates. Scan a tire and it reads the size, load and speed rating, and the DOT date. Scan a lease contract and the payment schedule fills itself in. Enter your VIN once and the make, model, year, engine and factory equipment come back decoded. WHAT YOUR CAR ACTUALLY COSTS Every receipt becomes a number you can see. Gas, service, insurance, parking, tolls, tires. Cost per mile, fuel economy over time, where the money went this year versus last. Logging a fill-up is two taps at the pump. Partial fills are handled properly, so the MPG stays honest. DATES YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS Insurance renewal. Next inspection. Service due at 60,000 miles. Warranty expiration. Lease payment. GarageID figures these out from your own history and tells you before they arrive, not after. THE THINGS OTHER CAR APPS LEAVE OUT Tires, as sets — summer and winter, tread depth, which set is on the car right now, when to swap. Insurance policies with the documents attached to them. Financing and leases: balance, schedule, what you've paid so far. Where you parked, and the places you keep going back to — your mechanic, your usual gas station. More than one car, each with its own history. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Your records live on your iPhone. There's no account to create and no GarageID server holding your data. Much of the work happens on the device itself, with Apple Intelligence and on-device text recognition. To read a document, the app sends it securely to a cloud AI; the details come back to your phone, and the document is never kept by us or used to train AI. Lock the app with Face ID if you want. Back everything up to iCloud, or into a single file you keep yourself. Export to PDF or CSV whenever you like. Coming from another car app? Point GarageID at its CSV export and your history comes with you. Available in twelve languages. Built for people who keep their cars a long time and would rather not lose the paperwork that proves it.
