Are you ready for a unique adventure like no other? Oxytone invites you to explore the depths of your mind while offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for those seeking relaxation. For more determined players, there are 99 challenges, colorful themes to unlock, and 12 meticulously designed maps. Oxytone is the ultimate puzzle game, equally easy to learn and challenging to master. Strive for the highest scores by creating the longest paths and achieving impressive combinations. Every move matters, and success depends on strategy and planning. You can discard tiles that don't fit your plan, but this reduces your pool of available tiles. To refresh it, you must fill tiles by guiding paths through them six times, deepening the mechanics further. Sound is an integral part of Oxytone, so I recommend playing with headphones. This will immerse you even deeper into the game. The sound design has been crafted with great care to create a unique and relaxing atmosphere, yet it can also deliver powerful moments when needed.

Grow a neon snake through a block puzzle — then harvest it. Everything multiplies. Snake Stack is a block puzzle with a living center: drag pieces onto the 8×8 board, touch your snake to grow it, and clear lines straight through its body for triple points. The longer the snake, the bigger your multiplier — up to ×10 on every single point you score. But the snake has a mind of its own. It hunts the apples your harvests grow. It slithers between your moves. Bury it and it suffocates. Feed it, route it, harvest it — and it pays you back tenfold. ◆ EVERYTHING MULTIPLIES — snake length multiplies all scoring, up to ×10 ◆ HARVEST — clear lines through your snake for triple points and fresh apples ◆ THE HUNT — the snake stalks food by itself; help it eat and get paid ◆ COMBOS — chain clears against a tightening clock, land CLUTCH saves ◆ THE DAILY — one attempt, the same board as the whole world, your global percentile the moment you finish ◆ STREAKS & SHIELDS — finish all three daily goals to bank a streak shield ◆ 8 SKIES — the world changes color as your score climbs; collect them all ◆ EARNED SKINS — Ice, Vapor, Solar, Ember, Nebula. Gold and rainbow can't be bought — only grown ◆ UNDO — one take-back per run, because misdrops happen

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Snake Stack at 5.0 against Oxytone's 4.5. Snake Stack also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Oxytone's advantage is ratings volume (99 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Snake Stack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oxytone has 99 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Oxytone ships an update every 3 weeks, Snake Stack every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
