Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Morse at 90% against Morse eMail's 50%. Morse also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and chart position (#115 vs unranked). Morse eMail's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Morse eMail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Morse's written reviews are positive against 50% of Morse eMail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Morse ships an update every 5 weeks, Morse eMail every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
