Build timers that guide you through every step. Hear the next stretching instruction, follow a cooking sequence, or alternate activity and rest—with spoken announcements, sounds and clear visual progress. Start with a ready-made preset, then adapt it to your routine. From a simple countdown to a workout with several stages, choose your cues and preview the sequence before you begin. Try the Stretching preset for an example with spoken guidance. HEAR WHAT COMES NEXT Create cues such as “Hold the stretch” or “Round 3 of 5.” Combine your own text with timer and event names, round numbers, elapsed or remaining time, and the current clock time. Choose a voice and delay speech to let an alarm sound first. Use the same text and variables in on-screen messages and notifications. SET THE PACE OF YOUR ROUTINE Build intervals for HIIT, Tabata, stretching, meditation or study breaks. You can also time turns in board games. • Choose a duration or a specific finish time, with an optional preparation delay. • Repeat for a set number of rounds or indefinitely. • Schedule cues at specific times of day, relative to the start or end, or at regular intervals. Use times or percentages—for example, a gong 30 seconds before the end or a tick every second. • Run an event every round, only the first or last, or a range such as rounds 3–5. End actions can run every round or only after the final one. SAVE IT ONCE, USE IT AGAIN Run several timers at once. Use events to control timers, display a timer or open a URL. Add, reorder and hide timers to keep the ones you need within reach. Save your setups as presets, organize them, and import or export them to reuse or share. SEE YOUR PROGRESS AT A GLANCE Display remaining time, elapsed time, the clock or graphical progress in two customizable areas. Switch to full screen for a larger view, in portrait or landscape. Keep track of the current round, dim the display for a less intrusive screen, and lock the controls while keeping the time visible. Choose whether to stop at the end or keep showing the time elapsed since finishing. MAKE IT YOUR OWN Choose bells, gongs and other alarms, or import and record your own sounds. Try Shepard tones: sequences that seem to rise or fall endlessly in pitch. Play a song from your music library, choose a random track from a playlist, or schedule music to stop. Prefer silent cues? Use on-screen messages, vibrations or a flashing screen. Customize colors and backgrounds, and search over 1,800 icons. On supported devices, you can also schedule photos or use the flashlight as a visual cue. In the background, scheduled notifications can display messages and play sounds. Snooze reminders directly from notifications, choose whether to show round and notification numbers, or tap to run your configured timer controls or open a URL. Spoken announcements and photos require Timer to stay open.

The timer and alarm app you need — designed to keep you on track, whether you're cooking, working out, or managing your daily schedule. QUICK TIMERS & PRESETS Get a countdown running in seconds. In the timer list, tap the lightning bolt beside +, pick 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 25 minutes — or dial any duration — and tap Start: it runs at once and clears itself from the list once you're done with it. Or start from one of ten ready-made presets: Pomodoro, Pomodoro 50 / 10, HIIT, Tabata, Meditation, Power Nap, Green Tea, Boiled Egg, Box Breathing and Stretching. Each one explains what it's for, and you can edit it like any other timer. COUNTDOWN TIMERS Create multiple named timers with custom durations. Personalize each timer with its own color and alarm sound. Start, pause, resume, and stop timers independently. INTERVAL TIMERS Set up two alternating phases — perfect for HIIT workouts, Pomodoro sessions, or any activity with work and rest periods. Customize the name, duration, and alarm sound for each phase. Add an optional warm-up before the first round and a cool-down after the last — or rename the cool-down to "Long Break" for full Pomodoro sessions. REPEATING TIMERS Let timers repeat — a fixed number of rounds or endlessly until you stop them. Track your progress round by round. ALARMS Schedule alarms for specific times with flexible weekday recurrence. One-time alarms disable automatically after firing. Snooze with configurable durations. STOPWATCH A third tab counts up from zero — no duration, no alert, it simply measures how long something took. Take a lap with one tap and compare the laps in the list. A running stopwatch keeps going when you switch tabs, leave the app or restart your device, and it costs no battery: it remembers when it started instead of counting. While it runs or holds, it appears on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on the Smart Stack of your Apple Watch, with Pause and Lap right there. The Stopwatch control starts it from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Action button. WIDGETS & LIVE ACTIVITIES Control your timers directly from the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Small and medium widgets show your timers and alarms at a glance — start, pause, or stop without opening the app. The Quick Timer widget starts a countdown with a single tap and shows the ones already running. The Tomato Timer widget (small, medium, large) brings a classic kitchen-timer tomato to your Home Screen. Live Activities keep your countdown visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. SHORTCUTS & SPOTLIGHT Start a saved timer, set a quick one, stop a timer, ask how much time is left, move to the next round, or turn an alarm on or off — from Spotlight or as a step in your own shortcuts. You pick the timer from a list of your own. iPAD & iPHONE Duo On iPad and the large inner display of an iPhone Duo, timers and alarms sit in a grid, and the alarm list stays within reach beside the alarm you open. On an iPhone Duo, the timer detail and the stopwatch split at the fold. With a keyboard, shortcuts such as ⌘N for a new timer save you typing. 25 ALARM SOUNDS Choose from 25 distinct sounds — from gentle chimes to clear bells, plus four short ticks that suit fast interval work — and preview each one before you decide. FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE • Custom colors for visual distinction • Multiple sort options (name, duration) • Group active timers at the top of your list • Light, dark, or automatic appearance • Grid layout and a two-column detail view when there is room • VoiceOver support and Dynamic Type up to accessibility sizes PRIVACY FIRST All your data stays on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Your timers are yours alone. Timers & Alarms is free to use. Love the app? Leave a tip to support independent development.
