Blanks shows you a definition and four words. Drag the right word into the hole in the paper. Get it right and a tick appears; get it wrong and you try again. After every right answer, Blanks shows what all four words mean, so the wrong choices teach you something too. Hold any of them to look it up in the dictionary on your iPhone or iPad. • Over 8,000 English words, with definitions from WordNet • No repeats until you have seen the whole list; words you miss come back sooner • Drag the words, or switch to tapping them • Your best streak is kept • No ads and no account; your progress stays on your device Want more practice with the words you get wrong? More Blanks adds a review mode for your mistakes, a list of your recent words, and your progress. Word definitions from WordNet 3.0, Princeton University. Geometry AR is a tool for viewing and learning about geometric figures using Augmented Reality technology (AR). With Geometry AR kids can view planar and solid figures by actually walking around the figure in order to view all sides. Students use the slider or arrow buttons to move through a list of over 25 figures. As figures are selected they instantly appear in the AR view and can be viewed by moving around the virtual object. Screens of information about the geometric figure are displayed when the notebook icon is tapped. If the sound has been activated by tapping the speaker icon, the text will be read aloud. Geometry AR is perfect for mathematics classrooms where geometry concepts are being introduced. Augmented Reality adds a level of interest and excitement that will stimulate young minds to further exploration. Be sure that your iPad allows access to the camera function by choosing Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> Off. Figures Included: point ray line segment line angle arc parallel lines perpendicular lines intersecting lines circle triangle right triangle acute triangle obtuse triangle rectangle square parallelogram trapezoid regular prism rectangular solid circular cylinder pyramid circular cone sphere skew lines polyhedron torus ellipse parabola hyperbola
