Verdict
The clearest difference is price: WeatherHub at Free against RadarScope's $9.99. WeatherHub also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). RadarScope's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

WeatherHub is free to download; RadarScope costs $9.99 up front. RadarScope sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. WeatherHub asks for nothing beyond the download.
WeatherHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RadarScope has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of RadarScope's written reviews are positive against 35% of WeatherHub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RadarScope ships an update monthly, WeatherHub every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
