It is a powerful, high-quality graphing calculator that takes full advantage of the multitouch display and the powerful graphing capabilities of the iPad and iPhone, both in 2D and 3D. "The app you need to survive the next semester." -- Gizmodo A simple yet intuitive interface makes it easy to enter and/or edit equations and visualize them in mathematical notation. It's capable of displaying explicit and implicit (opt) equations as well as inequalities (opt) in both 2D and 3D, in all standard coordinate systems: cartesian, polar, spherical, and cylindrical, all with fantastic speed and beautiful results, which can be copied, emailed or saved to the photo library. It also includes an evaluation feature to evaluate equations at specific points and a library where you can store commonly used equations. Up to 6 equations can be visualized simultaneously in both 2D and 3D modes; this limitation can be removed by purchasing the advanced feature set. Features: - Enhanced 2D - 3D plotting mode for great hi-res graphics. - Adaptive 2D algorithms. - Hyperbolic and Inverse functions. - Functions such as Min, Max, if. - Configurable axis decimal / π - Independent 2D zoom - Support for cartesian, polar, cylindrical, and spherical coordinate systems. - Interactive expression evaluation. - Library for commonly used equations. - Swipe to delete equations from the equation list. - Save to photo library. - Copy to clipboard. - Turn graphs on/off - Drag to rotate - move. The advanced feature set gives you access to: - External screen support - 2D tracing. - 2D and 3D implicit graphs. - 2D and 3D inequalities. - Roots and Intersections (2D) - Value Table - More features to come! Slopes is an interactive environment for exploring graphical solutions to ordinary differential equations. Slopes consists of six activities with preloaded examples to get you started and the ability to input your own content. "Slopefields" and “Phase Planes” both plot vector fields and solutions corresponding to multiple initial conditions. “Systems” dynamically solves systems of up to six equations. “Oscillations” solves second-order constant coefficient equations and animates the corresponding spring-mass system or RLC circuit. “Methods” constructs numerical approximations of a single ordinary differential equation using Euler’s method as well as Second and Fourth Order Runge-Kutta methods. "Bifurcations" creates a bifurcation diagram and shows the stability of equilibrium points. Slopes is a playground for ODEs. You can use it for homework, in-class activities or a new research project.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Slopes at none against Quick Graph's 1. Slopes also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Quick Graph's advantage is ratings volume (405 vs 41) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Graph sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Slopes asks for nothing beyond the download.
Slopes holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Graph has 405 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Quick Graph's written reviews are positive against 100% of Slopes's.
Quick Graph ships an update every 3 months, Slopes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
