SCOPA 84 perchè la prima versione di questo gioco fu realizzata dal sottoscritto nel 1984. Si trattava all'epoca di uno dei primi programmi che simulavano il ragionamento umano applicato ad un gioco abbastanza noto e semplice. Nel 1984 fu un lavoro complesso: i personal computer erano agli albori, Windows era ancora in fase di sviluppo ed il programma fu quindi scritto per il sistema operativo DOS: un acronimo forse sconosciuto ad alcuni di voi. I pochi PC disponibili per ambiente domestico erano privi di grafica e schermo a colori e le carte quindi furono disegnate con semplici trattini verticali e orizzontali ! Beh, devo farmi i complimenti anche per il fatto che il programma pur senza l'esistenza di Internet si diffuse su centinaia di computer a livello nazionale. Se oggi ho deciso di (ri)pubblicare questo gioco sotto forma di APP è solo per evitare che lo sforzo fatto a suo tempo andasse perduto insieme ai sorgenti del programma ancora memorizzati in un vecchio floppy disk da 5''. La struttura del gioco e l'impostazione grafica restano praticamente identiche e senza inutili fronzoli o animazioni. ---------------------------------------------- Initially developed in 1984 as DOS game (no graphics implemented at the time) the game was resumed as app in 2019.
