Both are free to download. iDoctor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Square Watermelon asks for nothing beyond the download.
iDoctor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Square Watermelon has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of iDoctor's written reviews are positive against 75% of Square Watermelon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iDoctor ships an update every 105 months, Square Watermelon every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
