Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Internet Beat at 5.0 against @Beat's 4.4. Internet Beat also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 26.0). @Beat's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 48 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Internet Beat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: @Beat has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Internet Beat's written reviews are positive against 82% of @Beat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Internet Beat ships an update every 48 months, @Beat every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
