Verdict
Daily and Life Widget both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Life Widget's written reviews are positive against 22% of Daily's. Life Widget also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 12 months). Daily's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
