Hurdler holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Hurdler's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shogeki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Hurdler ships an update every 78 months, Shogeki every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
