Passive attenuators are two port / four terminal resistive networks that are designed to reduce (or attenuate, hence their name) the power between a source and load. They can also match the impedance between the source and load. They are used in a variety of audio and radio / RF applications. iAttenuation calculates resistor values for the following types of attenuator networks: Tee Network Pi Network H (Balanced Tee) O (Balanced Pi) Minimum Loss Pad Just enter in the input and output impedance values, and the desired attenuation, and iAttenuation does the rest! iAttenuation can also adjust the calculated resistor values to match the nearest standard 1%, 5%, or 10% tolerance values.

Resistor collar codes calc is a powerful tool for decoding and calculating resistor values using 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-band color codes. Instantly get the resistance, tolerance, and temperature coefficient (TCR) based on the selected bands. The app also includes a code-to-value calculator, letting you enter a resistance value and see the matching color code. It verifies input against standard E-series values (E6 to E192) and suggests the closest standard resistor where needed. You can also calculate total resistance for series and parallel connections, as well as perform resistive voltage divider calculations — making this app ideal for circuit design and quick calculations. Key Features: • Supports 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-band color codes • Calculates resistance, tolerance, and TCR • Enter values to find matching color bands • E-series validation and nearest standard suggestion • Series and parallel resistor calculator • Resistive voltage divider calculator The application supports multiple languages, including: English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, and Ukrainian. Perfect for students, hobbyists, and electronics professionals alike.
