With this application you can see the location of the sun changing with the season. Point the device to the sky, this application will display the position of the sun over the camera image like the AR. You can also go to any places on GoogleMap and display the sun's trajectory in that place in 3D. It can also be useful when planning things that have a lot to do with the movement of the sun. Taking photos, installing solar panels, home gardens, home renovation and purchase, checking shaded places on the go, etc.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Planets at none against Sun position and path's 1. Planets also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Sun position and path's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Sun position and path holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 969 and 1.8K respectively.
