Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TioMobile at 5.0 against TELETEXT's 3.0. TioMobile also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). TELETEXT's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TioMobile sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. TELETEXT asks for nothing beyond the download.
TioMobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of TELETEXT's written reviews are positive against 8% of TioMobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TELETEXT ships an update every 5 months, TioMobile every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
