DynaMed holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DynaMed has 3.5K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of USPSTF Prevention TaskForce's written reviews are positive against 56% of DynaMed's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
USPSTF Prevention TaskForce ships an update every 3 months, DynaMed every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
