Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: xFeed RSS Reader at 62% against Feedit's 33%. xFeed RSS Reader also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15 vs 18.5). Feedit's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and rating (3.7 vs 3.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Feedit holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of xFeed RSS Reader's written reviews are positive against 33% of Feedit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
xFeed RSS Reader ships an update every 6 months, Feedit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
