About

iTurbo

This app simulates fluid dynamics by solving Navier-Stokes equations for 2D incompressible turbulence. It uses a direct numerical simulation method with Euler time stepping and Fourier space calculations for efficiency.

Highlights
  • Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS)
  • Navier-Stokes equation solver
  • 2D incompressible turbulence
  • Euler time stepping
  • Fourier space calculations
  • Vorticity field transformation
Features

This application performs a Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) where the Navier-Stokes equations are solved for two dimensional incompressible homogeneous turbulence. These equations are a set of nonlinear partial differential equations. The time stepping is performed with a simple Euler method where the time step is calculated so that the CFL number does not exceeds the given number (should be less than 0.8 otherwise the simulation blows up). The equations are solved in the Fourier space where the calculation of the nonlinear term transforms to a simple multiplication. The main CPU usage is consumed by transforming the vorticity field back and fourth between the Normal space where the time-stepping is performed and the Fourier space where the nonlinear term is calculated.

Turn your syllabus into a personalized study plan in seconds. StudySidekick is the AI study app built for college STEM students who want to actually understand their courses, not just cram before exams. Fully offline-capable and synced across every device you own. Snap a photo of your syllabus and StudySidekick builds out your whole semester — modules, deadlines, and study sessions ready to go. Upload lecture slides, textbook PDFs, or YouTube links and get instant summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and even AI-generated podcasts and explainer videos from your own material. WHAT YOU CAN DO Syllabus scan → semester plan. One photo, one tap, done. AI-generated study plans — get a personalized schedule for any exam, project, or full semester, adapted to your deadlines and daily study goal. AI notes and summaries — pick short bullet mode or a deeper comprehensive breakdown. Flashcards with spaced repetition (FSRS) so you review the right thing at the right time. Cross-module quizzes — test yourself on multiple topics or entire courses at once. Perfect for cumulative midterms and finals when everything is fair game. Smart exam reminders — StudySidekick tracks every quiz, midterm, and final on your calendar and nudges you to review at exactly the right time. No more waking up the morning of a test realizing you forgot to prep. Reminders get more frequent as exam day approaches, and cue up the exact flashcards and topics you're weakest on. AI podcasts — turn any reading into a natural-sounding audio episode for the walk to class. Animated explainer videos for concepts that don't click from reading alone. Lecture recording with automatic transcription and enhanced notes. Import from PDFs, slides, DOCX, images, and YouTube. Ask your Sidekick — a course-aware AI tutor that answers using your actual materials, not the whole internet. Full offline mode — open your notes, flip through flashcards, and study without a signal. Everything syncs back up the moment you're online. Grade tracker built to match how your school actually grades. Learning support presets for ADHD and dyslexia. Pick your Sidekick — Newton, Curie, Einstein, and other historical scientists as your study companion. BUILT FOR COLLEGE StudySidekick understands courses, not just documents. Everything you add is organized by class and module automatically, so your Calc II notes don't get mixed up with your Organic Chem flashcards. WORKS EVERYWHERE, ONLINE OR OFF Your library lives on your device first, so you can study on a plane, in a basement lecture hall, or anywhere else the wifi gives up. Your courses, notes, flashcards, and progress sync seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, and desktop — start a review on your phone between classes, keep going on the bus, and pick right back up at your desk without missing a beat. PERFECT FOR College and university students prepping for finals, midterms, and quizzes STEM majors — engineering, chemistry, physics, biology, calculus, computer science Pre-med students studying for the MCAT and med school prerequisites Homework help and understanding tough concepts Test prep and exam review across every subject Anyone who wants a smarter study planner, note-taking app, and AI tutor in one place Students with ADHD, dyslexia, or anyone who learns better with audio, video, and adaptive review Questions or feedback? admin@mystudysidekick.com Terms of Use (EULA): https://mystudysidekick.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://mystudysidekick.com/privacy
