Raving Manor is a cross between a classic adventure game and a graphic novel. You must go through the manor, finding objects and clues that might help you with your escape, pitting your wits against the unknown. Will you find your way out? Only time will tell, but everything you do is presented to you in a stylish manner. The game is designed to be friendly in a pick up and play manner, automatically saving progress in case life interrupts the adventure. The game also incorporates built in notes, allowing you to keep track of your predicament as you explore the haunted halls of Raving Manor. Blindscape is free to download; Raving Manor costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Raving Manor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blindscape has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Raving Manor's written reviews are positive against 91% of Blindscape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Raving Manor ships an update every 3 months, Blindscape every 55 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
