Voidline
Read full descriptionHide full description
One star system. Two fleets. Mine it, hold it, take it. Voidline is a real-time strategy game built for touch. You and a rival share a procedurally generated star system: mine its asteroids for credits, spend them on a base and a fleet, and destroy the enemy homeworld. Matches run ten to twenty minutes, and every system is different. COMMAND, DON'T MICROMANAGE Select ships with a tap, an idle button, or a double tap for a whole class. Tap a target for orders: mine, escort, attack, spy, capture, or send everything. Your ships fight, route around hazards and use wormholes on their own. Press and hold any ship for Command Focus: double its mining, recharge its shields, or push it through transit faster. THREE NAVIES, THREE DOCTRINES Voidwatch holds the line with a balanced fleet. The Tally counts the ore: harvester barges, deep-mining drones, and a Survey Office that runs your economy for you. Redmark doesn't mine. It marks, and it comes, with L4 warships and marauder raiders. A SYSTEM THAT FIGHTS BACK Solar flares burn a sector with a five-second warning. Debris fields grind hulls. Some systems are split by a dividing wall that navies must blast through and drones can mine for credits. Wormhole pairs let a fleet arrive where it shouldn't. Neutral stations, a Sensor Array, a Mercenary Dock and a Repair Yard, can be captured and lost again. AN OPPONENT WORTH BEATING A six-rung AI ladder from Recruit to Nemesis. Lower rungs mine their own half and come when they're ready. Higher rungs deny your rocks, snipe your drones, strike when your fleet is away, remember your garrisons and never stop building. Every match rolls the opponent's form, so the same rung never plays the same way twice. PLAY A FRIEND OR FIND AN OPPONENT Invite a friend through Game Center or join Open Lobby to find another waiting player. Choose your navies, confirm you are ready, and play head to head on iPhone, iPad or Mac. Both players need the Commission, an internet connection and Game Center. Friend invites use your chosen system; open matches choose a random one. EVERY DAY, A LAST STAND The daily challenge gives everyone the same system and asks one question: how long can you survive escalating waves from a Voidwatch, Tally and Redmark coalition? Your best time is kept for the day. LEARN IT IN FIVE MINUTES A guided tour shows you how to mine, use the build menu, queue ships and send your fleet into action. Reopen it any time. FREE, THEN ONE PURCHASE The free game is complete: Voidwatch, the Recruit to Commander rungs, a new skirmish system every day, the tutorial and the daily Last Stand. The Commission, a single one-time purchase, unlocks online play, The Tally and Redmark, the Warlord, Overlord and Nemesis rungs, the New System browser with unlimited systems, match replays, and every navy still to come. One purchase on iPhone, iPad and Mac. No ads. No subscription. No timers. Replay your last solo match to see how it unfolded. Solo play works fully offline.
