i2Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i2Reader has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of i2Reader's written reviews are positive against 86% of Lazy FB2 Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

i2Reader ships an update every 2 months, Lazy FB2 Reader every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
