Tractor Beam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FallDown! has 2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of FallDown!'s written reviews are positive against 82% of Tractor Beam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

FallDown! ships an update every 2 months, Tractor Beam every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
