Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Fairy Fire at 5.0 against Levers's 4.3. Levers's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 37 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Levers costs $0.99 and Fairy Fire $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Fairy Fire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Levers has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Levers's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fairy Fire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Levers ships an update every 5 months, Fairy Fire every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
