Exoplanets are planets orbiting stars beyond our own solar system. This app allows you to explore all discovered exoplanets, their measured physical properties, their location in the night sky, and their host stars. An interactive model shows you the entire observable universe, all the way from the surface of the Earth to the cosmic microwave background. This app has been developed by a professional astronomer. Main features: * Interactive visualizations and animations. * Physical properties of all detected exoplanets and their host stars, updated on a daily basis. * Stunning 3D model of our Milky Way showing the location of all known exoplanets. You can zoom into any planetary system, explore how the night sky and the constellations look from the surface of other planets, or zoom out and see other local galaxies and galaxy clusters as well as the cosmic microwave background. * Visualizations of exoplanet orbits and the habitable zone. * Choose between the Open Exoplanet Catalogue, the NASA Exoplanet Archive, and the Extrasolar Planet Encyclopedia (exoplanet.eu). * Push notifications are sent out whenever a new planet is discovered. * Augmented reality sky map: point the phone towards the sky to find an exoplanet! * Interactive multi-touch correlation plots. * Solar System planets, major moons, and asteroids are included. * Explore S-Stars orbiting the black hole at the Galactic Center of our Milky Way * Background information about exoplanets and detection methods. * Full support of planets in binary, triple, quadruple systems and orphan planets. * Real-time ray tracing on the GPU.

Explore the true size of countries, continents, and regions with TrueSize app. Move territories around an interactive map and compare their real proportions without the size distortion of traditional flat maps. Key Features • True-size comparisons Compare countries and regions using spherical geometry, without the size distortion caused by flat map projections. • 750,000+ geographic regions Explore countries, territories, states, provinces, historical borders, islands, and more. • Historical timeline Play through history or jump to any year, BC or AD, and watch borders, names, and flags change on the map. • Population tool Draw a circle anywhere on the map and see roughly how many people live inside it, along with the population density. • Languages and language families See the approximate areas where languages and language families are spoken, then move and compare them like any other region. • Natural features Explore mountains, peaks, deserts, islands, peninsulas, archipelagos, seas, bays, lakes, rivers, and river basins. • Geography games Play the TrueSize Challenge to guess the larger territory, or test your knowledge with the Flag Quiz. • Measurement tools Measure true geodesic distances in kilometers or miles, check compass bearings, and draw custom shapes. • Edit any boundary shape Modify the vertices of countries, regions, and other map shapes directly on the map. Add, move, select, or delete points with Undo and Redo support. • Facts and geographic details View population, area, flags, and useful facts for regions you explore. • Import & edit GeoJSON / TopoJSON files Load your own map data, modify shapes, simplify or merge boundaries, and export your changes. Ideal for students, educators, and GIS enthusiasts. • Share your discoveries Create and share interactive map comparisons with others. Perfect For • Students learning geography and map accuracy • Teachers explaining map projection distortion and how borders changed through history • Travelers visualizing distances and regions • Geography enthusiasts exploring historical and modern borders • Language lovers discovering where the world's languages are spoken • Anyone curious about the real scale of our world Why TrueSize? Traditional flat maps can significantly distort the apparent size of countries and regions, especially near the poles. TrueSize uses spherical geometry to provide more realistic size comparisons while letting you freely move and explore territories around the globe. From the creators of TrueSize.net, the official TrueSize app brings interactive geography tools, hundreds of thousands of regions, a historical timeline, population and language maps, games, measurements, and custom geographic data to your device. Rediscover the world as it truly appears – clearly, accurately, and interactively.
