Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Coordinates at $0.99 against SeaNav US's $19.99. Coordinates also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (60% vs 48%). SeaNav US's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (100 vs 4). On update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Coordinates costs $0.99 and SeaNav US $19.99 up front. SeaNav US sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per year. Coordinates asks for nothing beyond the download.
SeaNav US holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeaNav US has 100 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 48% of SeaNav US's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Coordinates ships an update every 6 months, SeaNav US every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
